If you’re wondering where Jennifer Lopez went, it’s time to start wishing you hadn’t.

Variety reports that the J.Lo-ster herself will start in another cookie cutter, run of the mill romantic comedy called “Governess.”

In this flick, she plays a robber who cases a place but falls in love with the family and has to decide whether she should follow her heart or take the money and run. This dilemma also describes how she got the role in the first place.

It’s being directed by the guy who created “Calendar Girls,” the film about the ol’ British biddies who pose nude for a calendar to raise some quick cash. Both films are liable to produce the same amount of dry heaves.

When is the last time J-Lo did a movie that anyone really cared about? I’m not saying she’s a bad actress or a waste of film time. I’m just asking when was the last good movie she did? Either it’s been a long time or my brain doesn’t want to go back that far for fear of having to realize my own mortality.
