Pointing out how Palestinians and Israeli would get along much better - or at least be able to start working at it - if they weren't continually kept at each others' throats by distant superpowers who don't actually care about them? Encasing that in a movie that would show in the mainstream cinemas of many of these superpowers? Now THAT'S the fun part. That's comedy. And not harmless slapstick either. I'm probably reading in things that aren't there. On the face of it, it seems hard to credit Sandler with such underhandedness. Maybe it was accidental. Still funny, though.
