The Wachowski bros certainly put a lot of effort into making Speed Racer… but the movie overall looked and felt like a cross between anime, a kaleidoscope, that Flintstones movie, a video game and the Dukes of Hazard

I really liked the first movie. Not because it was scary, which it wasn’t. But more because of the two geeks who figure anything out. And the brotherhood of Corey Feldman’s character and his in-movie brother.

But the idea of a sequel bothers me. They should have just left it where it was, not re-making some crappy sequel. I mean, most people won’t even know what it’s a sequel to.
