Wanna see something really scary? Then don’t watch the upcoming “Rosemary’s Baby” remake.

ShockTilYouDrop has learned that a remake of the classic Roman Polanski film is in the works.

Platinum Dunes is the production company behind the remake and they are hashing out the details with Paramount executives, details such as “Should we make fans of the original film want to claw their eyes out of their skull with their fingernails or use some type of sharpened instrument?”

Platinum Dunes is just about the worst choice for this project because they’ve hashed a bunch of classic horror films to death their crappy remakes. This is the same company behind the horrid “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” remake and they are also working on remakes for the original “Friday the 13th” and “A Nightmare on Elm Street.” You know studios are desperately out of ideas when they are remaking films that have already been remade a hundred times. What happens when those run out? They’ll start remaking the remakes, and then those remakes and then those remakes will be remade, then re-released as the director’s cut, and then the director’s cut will get remade.
